Patient and Physician Journey Mapping for Lucentis Treatment

Genentech had a breakthrough in clinical trial with successfully coming up with a cure for wet age related macular degeneration. They wanted to explore possible mobile apps and technology that can help patients assess their eyesight during treatment. Summarizing all the patient research and physician insights collected by the client we came up with a journey map for patients and physicians where digital touch-points could prove useful. A team with manager, analysts and healthcare SME gathered research, patient reports, interview notes, clinical trial data and physician notes. All data for sorted, categorized and map to the treatments process with feelings patients and physicians exhibited during the phase of the treatment.
